Altos｜QSAN XN8012R is 2U Rackmount NAS is powerful and high efficiency NAS system which is designed for enterprise applications for SMB and enterprise users, powered by Intel server level, Xeon CPU to provide abundant resources to meet computational requirements of wide variety of applications. Thru its enterprise level operating system, it provides efficiently applications, enterprise level storage solutions and extended bandwidth for comprehensive office environments. With additional 2 PCI-E slots, it can support ultra-high speed data transmission, such as 10GbE (SFP+ and RJ45), SAS adapter card and Thunderbolt 3.
Innovative (N+6) Hybrid Storage Capacity
The innovative mechanical design makes Altos NAS a versatile hybrid storage device. Without affecting existing its 12 bays large form factor slots, this NAS adds extra 6 form factor bays for SATA SSD at the left side of the system, this way it can meet both the demand for larger capacity and better performance.

Altos NAS runs with enterprise level operating system which is based on Linux and 128-bit ZFS file system, this high stability file system not only inherits the amazing native features of ZFS, such as SSD caching and compression technology, but also adjusted with several bespoke optimization enhancements that make NAS XN8012R a high performance, efficient and superior network attached storage device.

Altos NAS provides 100 licenses by default for Windows PC back-up/recovery purpose, powered by Acronis, market proven backup/recovery tool. Client OS supported includes Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 or higher version.
